TouGas Technology Leadership highlighted at European Energy Policy Event
Frankfurt, November 26, 2013 – TouGas Oilfield Solutions announced today that the company was highlighted as a technology leader during an energy policy event in Brussels. Industry participants and representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament discussed the potential of unconventional oil and gas in Europe. During the event an in-depth analysis regarding the impact of innovation on the oil and gas industry was released. “The TouGas technology will enable access to unconventional resources globally while reducing the environmental footprint of oil and gas operations” said Tore Land, President & CEO of TouGas during a panel discussion moderated by Ed Crooks, energy editor of the Financial Times.
Senior leaders of Solvay, BASF and PKN Orlen supported the notion that innovation and a prudent regulatory framework are needed to unlock the future growth potential of unconventional hydrocarbons.
